Mishka Ramirez

Hello, my name is Mishka Ramirez, and I am an alumna of GEMS American Academy Abu Dhabi. I am currently pursuing my third year at Heriot Watt University, where I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

I graduated from high school with a full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, which provided me with a strong academic foundation across a range of subjects. My Higher Level (HL) subjects were Physics, Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA), and Computer Science; my Standard Level (SL) subjects were English Language and Literature, French Ab Initio, and Business Management.

As I have completed the IB program, I understand the challenges and expectations that students face. As a tutor, my goal is to help students build their confidence, develop a deep understanding of concepts, and achieve their academic goals through clear explanations and a supportive learning environment.
