This Student & Parent Agreement outlines the terms governing students and parents or guardians using tutoring services through Intellectra Tutoring. By booking or attending tutoring sessions, you agree to the following terms.
1. Platform Services
Intellectra Tutoring provides an online platform connecting students with tutors for one-to-one online tutoring sessions.
The platform facilitates scheduling, communication, and payment processing for tutoring sessions.
2. Account Responsibility
Students and parents agree to:
Provide accurate registration information.
Maintain confidentiality of account login details.
Ensure minors use the platform under parental or guardian supervision.
Be responsible for activities conducted through their account.
3. Lesson Participation Responsibilities
Students agree to:
Attend sessions on time.
Be prepared with required materials.
Participate respectfully in lessons.
Maintain appropriate behavior toward tutors.
Tutors may end sessions in cases of inappropriate conduct.
4. No Private Contact Policy
To ensure safety and protect service quality:
Students and parents must not exchange personal contact information with tutors.
All communication must occur through the platform.
Lessons and payments outside the platform are prohibited.
Students and parents may not arrange private tutoring with tutors introduced through Intellectra Tutoring.
Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Payments and Lesson Fees
All payments must be processed through the platform.
Lesson bookings are confirmed only after payment.
Payments made outside the platform violate platform policies.
Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the platform’s cancellation policy.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Students or parents must cancel or reschedule lessons at least [Insert Hours] hours before the scheduled session to avoid charges.
Missed lessons without proper notice may be charged in full.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in account review.
7. Session Environment Requirements

8. Respectful Conduct
Users must behave respectfully toward tutors and staff.
The following are not permitted:
Harassment or inappropriate language
Offensive or discriminatory behavior
Recording sessions without permission
Violation may lead to removal from sessions or account suspension.
9. Academic Responsibility
Tutors support learning but cannot guarantee academic results or grades.
Student progress depends on participation, effort, and independent study.
10. Privacy and Confidentiality
Student information is handled according to the platform’s Privacy Policy.
Users agree not to misuse personal information of tutors or other users.
11. Account Suspension or Termination
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
Policy violations
Non-payment or payment disputes
Misconduct or safety concerns
Attempts to bypass the platform
12. Limitation of Liability
Intellectra Tutoring is not responsible for:
Academic outcomes
Technical issues beyond reasonable control
User disputes or behavior outside the platform
13. Agreement Updates
Intellectra Tutoring may update this agreement when necessary. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of updated terms.
